Botox course – botulinum toxin – training in the use of botulinum toxin in aesthetic treatments. Botulinum toxin, commonly known as “botox”, is the first-line measure in corrective treatments for mimic wrinkles. Type A botulinum toxin is a substance synthesized by bacteria of the anaerobic type of the genus Clostridium. The mechanism of action of Botox is based on a disturbance in the synthesis of acetylcholine and blocking the receptors in the neuromuscular plate, which results in paralysis of muscle contraction. The substance in high doses is dangerous to humans, while in appropriate doses it is the most effective way to eliminate mimic wrinkles. Botox administered to the treatment area thanks to chemo-nerve treatment contributes to the elimination of the dynamic component in the process of the formation of expression lines. Thanks to its properties, treatments with botulinum toxin A (TBA) have entered the canon of aesthetic treatments.
