IV drip is the fastest way to supplement fluid or nutrient deficiencies or to administer therapeutic substances according to individual needs. Intravenous therapy bypasses the gastrointestinal tract, ensuring higher bioavailability of administered ingredients than in the case of oral administration.
The drip is convenient when several substances are combined, if a rehydration effect is desired, or the substance needs to be heavily diluted or administered slowly.
