Taping tapes – ever heard of them? They are flexible plasters invaluable in physiotherapy and sports medicine. They help you recover from injuries, support the rehabilitation of medical conditions and are even a complement in the treatment of scars. Tejps regulate muscle tension, reduce swelling, protect joints and reduce pain. And that’s not the end of their benefits.
You can apply tejaps to the knee to stabilise the joint, to the back to help reduce pain, to the ankle to reduce swelling, to the wrist for treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, to the elbow for rehabilitation of tennis elbow and even to the abdomen after childbirth as therapy for a caesarean section scar. With the last one, however, we would prefer it to be preceded by a consultation with a specialist 🙂
Are you prone to allergies and irritations? You don’t have to be afraid to apply the tensives directly onto your skin. The composition of the tapes is 95% pleasant to the touch and breathable cotton, 5% elastic spandex and hypoallergenic adhesive. No latex is added. As a result, the plasters should not cause allergies or flare-ups.
What are tights used for?
- help to recover from injuries – by improving lymph flow they reduce swelling, reduce inflammation and speed up recovery.
- support in rehabilitation – they reduce muscle tension, increase the range of motion and relieve pain
- as a correction of incorrect posture – the tappets normalise muscle tension and reduce pain caused by asymmetrical muscle mobilisation
- as an adjunct in the treatment of scars – consult a physiotherapist if you are interested in mobilising your caesarean section scar with the use of the tights
