About the treatments
Electrotherapeutic treatments are enjoying continued recognition. We are seeing more and more use of electrotherapeutic methods in skin revitalisation and wellness treatments. Examples of the most frequently applied electrotherapeutic procedures in cosmetology and aesthetic medicine:
Galvanisation
Galvanisation is a cosmetic procedure whose therapeutic effect is related to the flow of direct current through tissue. In cosmetic practice, a series of treatments is applied with the aim of improving the skin and its remodelling, hydration, colour improvement, tension and increasing its resistance to negative external factors.
Lymphatic drainage
Lymphatic drainage (SPM method) is a vacuum massage which is performed on selected parts or the whole body. For this procedure a device called a dermo-massager or Chinese bubbles are used, where the dermo-massager massage is more precise. During the treatment, the device or the bubbles create negative pressure (they suck in air). The treated skin is sucked in, which in turn makes the vacuum massage very intensive.
The popularity of vacuum massage is due to the effects which are visible after the first treatment. At the same time, the massage is non-invasive and painless, although more sensitive people may feel slight discomfort.
Electrostimulation
This treatment is performed with the use of low-frequency currents or medium-frequency currents modulated into low frequency. The purpose of the treatment is to cause contraction of the muscle. In cosmetology, electrostimulation treatment is used as a method of “muscle sculpting” .
