This qualification is informed by employers and national and international standards for aesthetic beauty and developed by technical experts. It includes all the required elements to work effectively as a fully commercial aesthetic practitioner.

Optional units (Set 1) – Beauty Therapist Route

• Provide skin peeling treatments
• Provide skin needling treatments
• Provide radio frequency treatments

Optional units (Set 2) – Laser Technician Route

• Perform hair growth reduction using laser systems
• Perform skin rejuvenation using Intense Pulsed Light systems
• Core of Knowledge for Laser and Light Device

Entry requirements

The learner is required to hold a regulated qualification in level 2 and 3 beauty therapy or equivalent.
